Taking care of your mental health

Most people spend a lot of time taking care of their physical health by exercising regularly and going to the gym, but few people pay the same amount of attention to their mental health. Taking care of your mental health is often more important than your physical health. If you are worried about something or are under a lot of stress, this will affect your physical health also.

Some tips to take care of your mental health are:
1. Evaluate all events objectively, do not let your emotions affect your judgment. If some event or person is causing a lot of stress, decide if it is worth the trouble.

2. Do not try to please everyone, if you are unhappy, it is difficult to make others happy. You should know when to say no to people, and when to let people know that their actions are bothering you.

3. Keep aside some time every day to relax and review the events of the day.

4. Learn to laugh at your mistakes and retain a sense of humor

5. Keep your mind stimulated by learning something new like new languages or skills.

6. Devote some time regularly to hobbies which you enjoy.
